Vault & Vacation vibes

Hello from Norway! Summer - vacation 2018 has been really great so far. Started it all off with dinner at Rao's NYC with good friends, before heading to Montauk for a few days. Now I'm in Norway and I'm looking forward to a lot of time with the fam and as much Norwegian seafood as I can eat. If you've ever had fresh Norwegian brown crab claws you know what I mean. Love it.

Before getting into vacation-mode it was fun finishing up the second quarter by performing with my 6-piece band at the opening of Vault 634 - a stunning bank vault built in 1911 and now renovated and transformed into a cool event venue. The theme of the event was 1920s/ Great Gatsby which I'm sure you can tell from the picture above!

April is for singing

Halfway in April and it has been great so far. I performed with my band at three amazing private events this past week, the picture above is from Westlight - the venue I wrote about in my previous blog post. Had a really great time entertaining about 120 guests with my 6 piece band, with the New York Skyline as a backdrop.

I feel blessed that I'm able to work with so dedicated and positive musicians!

The two other major gigs I did this week were both inside the Natural History Museum. It was a very special feeling singing out into a room with a life size whale right before me - especially with such beautiful blue lighting; it definitely added to my inspiration. - Seena

MSG & performance prep

Had a great time hanging out with my modeling agent and friend Ashley this week. She invited me to accompany her to the Knicks game. I've had as many bookings for fit modeling as days so far in 2018 (counting weekends!), so this was a really nice way to celebrate that.

Yesterday I did a short walk-through at an amazing venue in Williamsburg, where I'll be performing with my seven-piece band for a big private birthday bash in April.

The venue is Westlight, and it's located on the top floor of The William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg.

January and the first half of February has flown by! In addition to finishing up my residency of weekly jazz shows at Marriott Marquis I've been extremely busy modeling for Theory, Ronny Kobo, Divine Heritage, Petersyn, Rachel Comey and a few other brands. Loved taking a night off to attend the Red Dress Collection 2018 show during NYFW. Fun night supporting a great cause that you can read more about here.

Other than that I've been in the studio refining my original material with some amazing musicians and engineers <3.

Oheka Castle and More Shows

Is it just me or did November fly by super fast? I've had a great month with a lot of positive energy! Started it off performing at a beautiful wedding in Huntington, New York at Oheka Castle.

We got super lucky with the weather - it was about 72 degrees and sunny - rare for November in New York! The whole evening was a major success.

Also - great news for my Marriott Marquis shows; We have expanded them to select Saturdays, as well! The first Saturday was yesterday; Crossroads Lounge was poppin! The next Saturday show will be December 2nd. Hope to see you there and don't forget my show in Megu this Wednesday 11.22.17! 7pm-9.30pm!

Autumn in New York

I've had an amazing start to the fall season with some exciting shows that already happened and some that are still to come. This past week my band and I did three fun shows: One was during an amazing post-baptism celebration for a beautiful Italian family, one was at swanky Megu restaurant in the Meatpacking District and one was at our home base of Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

I had a ton of friends and family come down for the Megu show and Dominic Chianese from Sopranos and The Godfather also hung out with us for a long time - The Godfather films are definitely in my top five favorite films list so that was an awesome treat!

Making Google Swing

I had the coolest ending to an amazing long weekend; performing for Google at their NYC offices with my band. Their space is a lot of fun - I caught a video of an art installation in the 4th floor reception area: View it via my Twitter @SeenaOfficial

My weekend was also filled with beautiful nature and additional happy people, since I performed at a private event at a gorgeous Beach Club in Mamaroneck. Mamaroneck reminds me of Norway.
