The best coffee in Rome

Antico Caffé Greco

Antico Caffé Greco

I spent the Memorial Day weekend with my <3 mom <3 in Rome.
I took her to my favorite coffee spot: Antico Caffè Greco.
They have the best iced latte! If you don’t like too much sugar,
ask for it unsweetened, and remember to request ice if you want ice cubes.
Antico Caffè Greco is right by the Spanish Steps, so in a pretty touristy spot,
but it’s loved by locals and visitors alike for a reason.
It’s the oldest bar in Rome and the second oldest in Italy.
Vlog coming!

3 Days In London

My lovely view at Kitchen Table restaurant

My lovely view at Kitchen Table restaurant.

Currently in London hanging out with my dad
for his 70th birthday.
We’re staying in a cool Airbnb in Fritzovia and have been hitting some great restaurants like Kitchen Table.
Sharing a few shots and video blog with more coming soon!

Oyster taco at Kitchen Table.

My favorite food on this trip, so far, was the first course we enjoyed at Kitchen Table by James Knappet;
A fresh, meaty oyster-taco where the taco tortillas were composed of leaves.

If you’re a foodie, or you’re traveling with someone who is a gourmand,
I really recommend Kitchen Table.
The concept is: 19 seats around an open kitchen,
ability to witness food being prepared with some commentary by the chefs.
I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere with rock music from different decades;
Refreshing to enjoy a 2-star Michelin establishment without unnecessary and outdated pretentious vibes.

The cute salt and pepper set at Chiltern Firehouse.

If you’re looking for good vibes in a cool place you will also find them Saturday during brunch time at Chiltern Firehouse.
Love their steak tartare with chipotle sauce, and their cheeseburger hits the spot.

Will share my vlog from our trip on the blog when I’m done editing it.
Peace <3

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF TWA HOTEL

My flight from NYC/JFK to OSLO/GARDERMOEN ended up being really delayed. Since it was in the middle of the night with no restaurants or lounges open I decided to take the (free!) Airtrain from Terminal 1 over to Terminal 5. Why did I do this? So that I could check out the new TWA Hotel of course! Check out the video I made and please like and subscribe if you want more content as I’m going to upload a lot to my Youtube channel in the coming months.

My Fave Hike In Iceland

IMG_0041-2R2.jpg

My fave hike in Iceland comes with an optional dip in a hot spring river! If you find yourself in Reykjavik looking for a nearby hike, I recommend renting a car and driving 30-45 minutes to Reykjadalur. The hike up to Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River is beautiful! It’s easy to follow the main path and the incline will definitely get your heart rate up, even though it’s not too difficult a climb. One note: If you are scared of heights you might have to turn around at a certain point; about halfway into the hike the path winds around a valley where the edges are pretty steep.

Once you are close to the part of the hot spring thermal river where you can bathe you have to pass through an area filled with steam blowing from nearby hot springs - simply amazing!

The hike to Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River is about 3 kilometers in each direction.
You’ll understand it once you’ve reached the area you can bathe in, as it boasts a few changing-screens (FYI they are not enclosed so people can still see you change) and steps down into the river. Don’t forget to bring a towel.

This is just one of many incredible hikes in Iceland and I can’t wait to go back and do more! Let me know if you have any suggestions!

My fave way to start the morning in Rome

Saw somebody eating donuts today and it made me flash back to one of my favorite memories from the last time I was in Rome: Getting up really early and jogging along river Tiber with the final destination being Pasticceria Boccione in the Jewish Quarter for some freshly made donuts. You should try it!

Arrive right when they open at 8am.
